Gift Guide 2011: The Dudes
Usually, buying for guys can be tricky. But, this year, I found a plethora of options to for men gifts. Here are my favorites for the 2012 Guy Gift Guide.
Whiskey Shave Soap. I mean, I have nothing else to say.

From the smarties at the MoMA Store, this “Peas USB Hub” would be a nice gift for your techie nerd man.

You always thought your dude reminded you of Humphrey Bogart… just help the image along with this fedora. From Rag & Bone, who has a nice selection of colors and styles.

If your guy is anything like JD, his favorite food is probably “sandwiches.” (Or Joey Tribbiani’s… just skip to 8:40.) Celebrate his love of the club with these fun coasters from ModCloth.

Goofy magnets, why not? Fun Animal Tail Magnets from Poketo would be a neat stocking stuffer.

More on the practical side of things, this plug (Eliminata) aims to eliminate that “vampire drain” the occurs during your electronic gadget’s downtime:
Most things you plug into an outlet are designed to drain energy, but the Eliminata is the opposite: The little gizmo serves as a conscientious middleman between your appliance and the socket, killing the flow of electricity during downtime and preventing that “vampire drain” that adds up over the course of a year.

For the lazy among them, your guy would like these “hooking” tools hanging anywhere in the bathroom. (from Goodjoy Design)

And, finally, the traditional Kate Schmate Guy Gift Guide staple: t-shirts! I always pick out fun t-shirts that guys would love, and here’s this year’s favorite. From Wire and Twine, tees for you to clothe your man in. (Love the Tii-shirt!!)
RE: Portland General Store “Whiskey” Shave Cream
I was recently given some “Tobacco” after shave from the Portland General Store, and I like it pretty well. Shaving items are always a great gift – masculine and refined.
